The terrifying Tristan

This is the "Jack the Ripper" coat Tristan commissioned for his haunted house work. As you can see he is quite imposing.

And now for something completely different:

Mrs. Havisham's wedding cake. This was made for romance and rembrance at Candlelight Theatre

Tiny things Thursday: stockings

Here are our christmas stockings. I like having handmade things that can be past down during the years. I especially love the idea of adding to the collection as our family grows.

Me: kitty in a present
Daddy: Santa
Bekah: Sugar Plum Fairy

Tiny things Thursday: more knitting!

So I tried to have this done by Halloween but it just didn't. My friend Kristen loves Halloween as much as I do. Luckily pumpkins are still seasonal till next week. Also the pattern lied and it ended up being a little small.

With some help from his dad Baby Aiden will get to wear his hat while taking his first crack at turkey dinner.

The return of tiny things Thursday

So I learned to knit. It wasn't nearly as complicated as I thought it would be. My main reason for wanting to learn to knit that all was I wanted to be able to make a Jayne Cobb hat. I already know how to crochet but the crocheted looked weird and lumpy. I think the hat is just a little bit small for me so I might try and figure out how to enlarge the pattern. However it still looks 1 million times better than any of my first attempts at Crochet.

So? How does it sit? Pretty cunning don't you think?

Day 31: trick or treat!

This was Bekahs second Halloween but really it was her first where she understood the concept of CANDY CANDY CANDY!
All in al it was a really great month of October.

I was a fall fairy, Becca was the doing fairy, and Leon revived his wizard of Grid which means he wears my big turban and Arabian robe over his colts.

I'm especially pleased with how the make up and wings turned out

Day 29/30: family pumpkins

We finally got a chance to carve our pumpkins from the patch. Bekah was finding everyday she could to "help". Ali's had some fun with our foster kitty. Still lookin for a home for her.
